Seamless Fade

Load your image on its own layer. This trick is trial and error so I suggest you make duplicate copy of your layer or a backup copy just in case things dont go your way on the first try.

The key tool here will be the eraser tool. The settings I used for this tutorials:

opacity : 80%
brush size : 65

Using the eraser tool. Erase the right and lower parts of the image to fade. The settings I used can vary from image size or how gradually you want the edges to fade.

To complete the image, I've added a gradient background and removed the other white parts around the image.
